Dear Jose,

I'm so pleased to hear you are taking time for yourself. You need to protect your own mental and emotional health. So many people the world over rely on your example, stewardship, love for a joyous life, and showing us all another way to live-by embracing longer tables, of course!

I look forward to your return when you are ready and in the meantime, I am holding you and all the WCK family in my heart. You are angels of mercy and agents of peace.

Love!!

Ellen

Heartbreaking. Please don't lose faith. Your work is so important and an inspiration, Mr Andres.

Maybe too soon to mention any silver linings, but it appears this tragedy may significantly alter the way Israel conducts itself in this conflict towards less hard-line tactics.

Thanks for all you and WCK do. It is the opposite of the brutality and uncaring that initiated and prolongs this conflict.

You are such a ray of light and hope, and this tragedy has struck deep. I cry just reading about these lost lives and the thousands of others lost in Gaza, but to know these brave and generous souls whose lives have been cut short personally is surely beyond heart-wrenching. Your community who gather with you at this table you have set with hospitality that welcomes all, will be with you as you and these families mourn, and hold you and them in love and comfort.
