You are a sustaining visitor to hurricane sites around the globe, Jose. Perhaps that is because you ARE a hurricane. I admire you and your efforts which is why i continue to support you in my own little contributions. Thank you and your legions for all that you do. .....
Prices of food and energy commodities increased steadily following the onset of the pandemic and reached historic highs after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. While international prices have since moderated, they have nonetheless contributed to upward pressure on domestic inflation. Moreover, high energy prices have increased input and transportation costs, weighing on economic activity and feeding into higher food prices through production linkages. The result has been a cost-of-living crisis, with the most vulnerable economies and people particularly hard-hit and with a marked increase in food insecurity. In addition, empirical estimates highlight that the increased volatility of commodity prices is likely to weigh on medium-term growth and increase inflation volatility. A further erosion of real incomes could lower household spending and spark social unrest, harming livelihoods and growth. An extended disruption of the energy supply in Europe poses further downside risks. Moreover, unfavorable inflation developments could necessitate a sudden tightening of financial conditions from larger-than-expected further policy interest rate increases, raising borrowing costs for many economies that are already dealing with elevated debt levels. Further geoeconomic fragmentation could restrict trade and increase concentration risks in the energy supply, exacerbating food and energy security concerns.
I am always amazed by your abundance of energy as well as your amazing ideas for a better future for all. Too bad the men in the suits wont listen to reason.
I have been to Jaleo in Disney Springs and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, cant wait to do it again.
Truly exciting! I live in Portland, Maine (which needs and is worthy of one of your restaurants) now, but I have great memories of Cafe Atlantico and Jaléo when I worked in DC in the 1990s. Thank you José!
Wonderful!!! I will like to help in any way. I am not an expert but I have been working with needy communities for a long time, I read the news and I am still amazed that in this century with all the new technology, and global communication food is still a problem. Please keep pushing. I am with you José Andres. Gracias por siempre estar ayudando a quien lo necesita.
Thank you for being a tireless example of the best of humanity. You can make me laugh, cry and acknowledge how important food equality is for this world. Now you are going to show the do-nothings who are in charge (sorry, but it is sadly true that SO LITTLE gets done in Washington these days if it doesn't benefit them) what real leadership is. And how to make things better for all.
Aloha Jose, I appreciate your enthusiasm! Please keep up the good work, and education of people to the importance of good food. It breaks my heart when I go into a grocery store, and see people with baskets full of packaged, processed food (?) We need to make real food easier, and more importantly, cheaper so that those people have better choices!..Mahalo for all you do!

This is big. Everything Jose Andres does is big and a good thing for our world. Gracias Jose Andres.
Who is in charge of the beverages?
Sustainability starts with what a we put in to our bodies, alcohol kills every cell in your body & nature too ex. Research Jack Daniel’s disaster in such a short time of making alcohol. Below are great links for solving the hunger problem, luckily we got great Non-Alcoholic spirits & cocktails we can pair the food with (not killing your tastebuds either like alcohol that the car engine can not take more than 10% of). https://sciencing.com/effect-alcohol-plants-8006187.html AND https://www.canarymedia.com/articles/food-and-farms/biofuels-are-accelerating-the-food-crisis-and-the-climate-crisis-too
