This is beautiful. It is the way Americans could behave if the negativity of the 🍊 Rump and cohorts would stop sowing hate and division. Bravo to you and your partners in Lebanon.

Love this! Reminds me of the Violette de Bordeaux Figs with calabrian chili oil & cured lardo recipe I adapted from California cuisine restaurant Rustic Canyon! check it out:

Intuitively, as America is under threat, our neighborhood came together around our community garden.

You folks have done this at national scale while keeping it humble, nourishing and LOCAL.

Feeding, nurturing Body/Mind/Spirit, HOPE.

I had the pleasure of eating at Tawlet in Beirut before the explosion (and also at their Paris outpost). Amazing place. Amazing concept.

I’m in early retirement and slow traveling full-time… In search of purpose we can carry with us, across borders and languages. Something grounded, something that gives back.

Wondering how we might get involved with your organization or any affiliates as we travel. Would love to connect and learn more. This deeply resonates.

Thank you Kamal ( and Jose) for your work and your vision.

What a great read and a wonderful interview! I feel so encouraged when I hear stories of people innovating, evolving, and caring for each other in hard times. It's why I also love WCK. Thank you, Kamal, for what you do and for this insight into your country and the people there. Thank you, Chef.
