Hello José and Everyone! When I was 7 years old (long, long ago), my father made my lunchbox sandwiches, and on Fridays it was often sardine sandwiches - my favorite! Until Sister Rose Mary sent a note home requesting no more sardine or tuna sandwiches! Too stinky! I got my revenge, sort of, I dripped grape jelly from the PB&J sandwiches. On the desk top, on my uniform, on my shoes . . .

Señor, there is only one situation in which I would not go wild on a plane if someone opened a can of sardines in the seat next to me, and that is if you were sitting next to me.

Otherwise, that is cause to divert the flight and call the marshals. And I love sardines--just not on a plane.
