as a child, my family would go into the inlet bays around

Avalon NJ and crab fish for the day. A bushel of crabs would be boiled up that afternoon and all the kids would sit around the table covered with newspaper and eat jersey blue crabs until we were stuffed. It was glorious. Seeing your pictures, I can smell it, taste it and I am there.

I always wonder why the SF Bay Area doesn't have more low-key, casual, roadside/outdoor places to consume the great seafood that swims in the nearby waters. I love these types of places!

As a Marylander now living on Boston's North Shore I have the best of all worlds when it comes to seafood. Better yet, my husband is an avid shell fisherman and we had linguine in razor clam sauce a few days ago! Wonderful!
