I can hardly wait to read it José! And I just watched your commencement speech at GWU from 2014 you included in your post — it was so inspiring!! And those lines by Antonio Machado really resonated with me too.

Jose, your words -- and your GW commencement address which I watched just now for the first time -- have driven this 85-year-old osteoporotic female first to tears and simultaneously into action: to shut off my computer monitor, overlook my aches and pains, tie my apron strings, and to keep trying to change the recipe.

My dear friend Ann Wilder (rest in peace), Vanns Spices founder, made sure you and I had a few minutes to chat during Worlds of Flavor CIA conf you chaired at St Helena. I have been a staunch admirer and supporter ever since. I will be counting the days until "Change the Recipe" is released --with promises to buy and share multiple copies far and wide. Bravo!

Jose, I always appreciate your honesty and always the truth of what is in your heart regarding issues of the world you have 1st hand knowledge of. I have so much respect for you being true to yourself regardless of any haters or naysayers comment. Looking forward to your encouragement to inspire changing my life's recipe to share with others as you do us. Never too old to learn . YOU ARE THE BEST
