We had a delightful & delicious meal at a tapas bar and cafe called Piggs in Edinburgh, Scotland last month. Who knew? Everything was fresh and tasty. The wine was quite good as well. I love tapas anywhere!!

Hola, For someone who has recently chalked up 25 years you are to be admired for your courage and perseverance.

One of the best weeks of my life was spent in San Sebastian and Bilbao, not to mention Jerez.

Keep up the good work 👏

Going for tapas (pinchos) is not only eating small portions of different preparations in different places, it is also a way of sharing and enjoying socially

Loved Zaytinya and China Chilcano when I lived briefly in the Navy Yard. Covid killed my opportunity to get the others before I moved to Texas

CHANGE IN INSTRUCTIONS: After hearing from Mr. Bruno at Substack Support that the rest of the $150.00 (I.e. minus the $10.00 we were told that goes to World Central Kitchen) goes to “the writer” , i.e. who already makes millions of dollars, I am really not interested in this “subscription” anymore. I thought this was a non-profit and that my money was going to help support the work to feed people in cases of disaster. PLEASE CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL AND PROCESS A FULL REFUND TO MY CARD, THEN DELETE MY INFORMATION FROM YOUR SYSTEM,

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN JOSE ANDRES!

I don’t know who first introduced tapas to Americans, but I first had them at a tiny Dallas restaurant called Cafe Madrid at least 30 years ago. I’m happy to report that even in a very tough restaurant market, it’s still there. And at nearly any restaurant we visit, my husband and I love to order several small plates to share rather than choosing individual entrees. Sampling a lot of different things is much more fun!

Tapas are the best! My tio first introduced me to tapas and I was in love from the first. Gambas el ajillio was my favorite, along with slices of cheese from the enormous wheel he brought from Barcelona.
