When lists of "Where To Give" became overwhelming, there was always one charitable gift that the donor could be assured was in good hands doing good work. WCK is the first check to write to help in any disaster because nothing is more basic than feeding people who have no food. WCK is building an international network of love and care for fellow humans. It's an honor to be able to support it. As a recovering restaurant chef and caterer, I am teary-eyed and emotional when I read this. The emotion is a mixture of pride in my former profession and happiness for the effort it takes to pull this off, not for just one event, not for a week at carnival, but day-in and day-out to make a difference. You make it all sound 'easy' but none of this would be possible without your enormous, heartfelt commitment to the wellbeing of those you serve and comfort, the love that WCK shares with each and every one it encounters, and above all - both your and your team's incredible smarts in making such a complex operation come off so seamlessly.
