Two recipes: A Summery Cocktail and a Snack from Zaytinya
Cool off with a Greek pomegranate-white wine cocktail and a red pepper-feta spread
Amigos!
As you may know by now, this week, almost 20 years after we opened in DC, we opened Zaytinya at the new The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad! I could not be more excited and proud of my entire team and our partners who helped bring this dream to life. I can’t wait for you to come in and taste the incredible flavors of the Mediterranean…Turkey, Greece, and Lebanon, in our new space designed by my friends at The Rockwell Group in the heart of New York City’s Flower District.
To get you excited for what’s in store there, here are two recipes. The first is Pom-Fili, a refreshing summertime pomegranate cocktail that’s on the Zaytinya DC menu made with white wine and vodka (yes, it’s hard for me to drink anything but Gin-Tonic or a glass of cold Txakoli in summer, but you know I will make an exception…), and the second is the classic Greek red pepper and feta spread, Htipiti (say T-P-T), that everyone loves. You’ll find that on the menu at the Zaytinya that just opened in New York City.
Make them for your people this week and let me know what you think! Or just come to the restaurant and we’ll make it for you!
