Hola everyone, I hope you had a good week! Last week, we talked a lot about the history of elBulli, Ferran and Albert Adrià and their lasting contributions not only to Spanish food, but to cooking and innovation around the world. Their creative genius and vision inspired a worldwide “big bang” in food, and the elBulli legacy continues through the Bullinianos who spent time there.

While so many of these amazing chefs that I talk about still have restaurants in Spain (like Paco Morales, whose 3-star restaurant, Noor, features the culinary traditions of Al-Andalus—the region of Spain controlled by the Moors for almost 800 years)—some of the ones I mention this week have brought elBulli’s influence across the pond, right here in the U.S.!
