If you had a chance to listen to my conversation with Marcus Samuelsson on the Longer Tables podcast this week you heard me making this super easy appetizer with smoked salmon.
With the help of one of my favorite pieces of equipment in the kitchen, a rice cooker, it really just takes a couple minutes of preparation. I almost always have nori lying around my kitchen…I love to snack on it alone, and if you add some leftover smoked salmon you have a quick and delicious appetizer. Remember that you need to get the proportions right…don’t overfill them or they will be hard to eat and make a mess!
Have them as a snack, serve them as an appetizer for friends, or put them in your kids lunch box (with the nori wrapped up on the side so it doesn’t get soggy!)
