Friends…it’s nearly the end of 2023, we are looking right over the horizon to the New Year.

For me, the end of the year is a beautiful and quiet time with family and friends. It’s been a long year for many of us (if you want a recap of my 2023, check it out on Longer Tables!), and the last few days are a perfect time to let the dishwasher run through the last of the holiday dishes, leave your house, and go to sit at a bar with a nice glass of wine in front of you.

Know someone who loves wine and travel? Send them this post!

I’m lucky enough to travel around the United States, visiting cities in which I have restaurants as well as some that I don’t. Wherever I go, I love to visit friends and make new ones, checking out restaurants and tasting my way wherever I go. So of course, I’ve discovered a few perfect places to get a glass of wine (maybe with a bite on the side, maybe not).

So friends. Today I wanted to share with your nine spots in seven cities around the country to get a glass—mostly bubbles for the new year, but also a couple of sparkling cocktails.

Happy New Year. I hope you enjoy the last few days of 2023, and have a wonderful first few of 2024. See you next year.

But before that…let’s go out for a glass!
