Hello my friends!
It’s been a busy first week at Longer Tables. And I wanted to say a BIG thanks to those of you who joined our community of food fighters.
Since we launched June 1st, I have taken many of you with me to our kitchen on the borders of Ukraine to highlight the pots, pans, and people it takes to churn out millions of hot, comforting meals.
I also shared a recipe for Asparagus with Romesco, one of the first vegetables of spring paired with a classic Catalan sauce, and told the story of one researcher’s quest to define the true recipe for one of my favorite dishes from Spain (and maybe yours too?)—Valencian Paella.
More is on the way—including videos like the one I posted yesterday about eating crabs on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
One quick reminder: For the first few weeks, everything is free to all subscribers. But after June 17, recipes, videos, and our upcoming membership discussions will be for paid subscribers only. If you’re interested, a subscription is $6 a month or $50 a year. For the first six months, 100% of net subscription revenues will be donated to World Central Kitchen.
Thanks for joining me at Longer Tables.
Love everything about this!
Thank you. My paella pan is on its way
