Me and Arnold Schwarzenegger: Twins!

We have a lot more in common than our toned bodies.

On my show, I sometimes speak with actors, I sometimes speak with politicians, I sometimes speak with activists. Not until today have I spoken with all three in the same person.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the one and the only Arnold Schwarzenegger. 

Ok, we’re not twins but we do have a lot in common. We are both immigrants. We’re both problem solvers. And it turns out we both believe the transformational power of people sitting down at a table to talk.

Yes that’s right — I believe in Longer Tables, and Arnold believes in Stammtisch. Stammtisch is an Austrian word for a regulars table, where people come together and share ideas. So this week, he and I are both joining each other’s tables — and each other’s microphones — to chat. We’re talking climate change in advance of his Austrian World Summit this month in Vienna. We’re also talking about communication in a polarized world and why he’s eating more vegetables than ever.
